Creamy Texas BBQ Dipping Sauce | Texas Wild of Fredericksburg

Creamy Texas BBQ Dipping Sauce | Texas Wild of Fredericksburg

Our family LOVES using Texas Wild™ original BBQ Sauces to make our own homemade dipping sauce.
 It's easy-to-make & only requires a few ingredients.
Ever since we first made it, family & friends have been asking for more.  And its great for kids too!

In a small mixing bowl, combine:
• 1/4 cp sour cream (substitute with mayonnaise if needed.)
• 1/4 cp Texas Wild™ Spicy BBQ Sauce
• 2 tsp  Pure TX Honey
Stir together well.
{Serves: 1-2 people, double recipe if needed}

You can serve immediately, or cover & refrigerate for 30 minutes to let the flavors set in.  If it firms up a little from being chilled, stir until its creamy.

• FOR MORE TWANG add more BBQ sauce to taste.

• FOR A SWEETER TASTE
add more Pure TX Honey.

This delightful milder dipping sauce is family approved.

Try it with chicken tenders, grilled or sautéed chicken, pork loin, french fries, and we absolutely love dipping our home-made onion rings into this flavor of Fredericksburg TX!

TEXAS CHEESEBURGERS & GAME DAY SLIDERS
Replace standard mayo, mustard, ketchup with a genuine Texas flavor!  Generously spread this CREAMY TX BBQ SAUCE on the buns for a new irresistible Texas heritage cheeseburger and sliders!

HILL COUNTRY POTATO WEDGES
After cutting your potato wedges, lightly coat them with Texas Olive Oil, and salt & pepper to taste.  Sprinkle some Garlic & Herb or Italian Dried Spices  over them for added flavor and mix.
Place on a cookie sheet or dish pan that is also lightly coated with premium Texas Olive Oil, and bake at 450º for about 15 min.  Flip them over & bake another 15 min or until golden brown and done.
Consider topping them with:
• Shredded or melted cheese
• A sprinkle of smoked paprika powder (or chili powder if you prefer more spice)
• Freshly chopped parsley leaves, chopped green onions, or chives.

Finally, drizzle some homemade CREAMY TX BBQ SAUCE over them for a whole new delightful taste!

CHIPS & DIP
In a decorative serving bowl filled with CREAMY TEXAS BBQ DIP, consider topping it off with a sprinkle of smoked paprika powder, freshly chopped parsley leaves, or a few chopped green onions or chives.  Chill for 30 min to an hour in your frig to let the flavors settle a bit.  Not only is this a tasty dip, but it's also a colorful display of Texas heritage flavors.
